The village was like one massive family.

    

Although Little Gidding is just a small    village, T.S. Elliott wrote a poem of the village, describing it’s tranquility. It is the final quartet in his poem, ‘Four Quartets’.

 

       

 

 

On Thursday 26th January 2006, Ms Mary Read, visited Great Gidding School, to be interviewed, by a group of children there, doing a project on the small community of Little Gidding. Ms Read lived in little Gidding from1993 till the community

collapsed in 1997. These are some of the points that she made:
