Release of 2008 validated Key Stage 2 data in Full reports & Key Stage 3 Data 2008

Purpose:   Important Information
Audience: Headteachers

Key Stage 2 validated in Full Reports

The Full Report for schools with KS2 results has now been updated to reflect the validated 2008 KS2 data released in interactive reports on 28th May.

The validated data release incorporates approved changes to the data that may have been requested as part of the DCSF Achievement and Attainment tables checking exercise for schools with pupils at Key Stage 2. This data set may not reflect the outcome of any late or ongoing appeals.

The RAISEonline Full Report can be downloaded from the homepage. It is a static document containing a range of contextual and attainment reports relating to your school which will also be used by Ofsted inspectors to inform the pre-inspection briefing.

Key Stage 3 Data

In October 2008, the Secretary of State announced significant changes to the school assessment and accountability system, including the end of compulsory Key Stage 3 tests

Subsequently, and following representations from head teachers, he decided not to proceed with collating and publishing Key Stage 3 performance tables at the school-level for 2008, as to do so would place an unnecessary burden on secondary schools.  Therefore, 2008 Key Stage 3 data will not be released into RAISEonline

If you have any further queries please contact enquires@ofsted.gov.uk.
