Date & Venue: 11th November 2009: 4-6pm at Cromwell Community College, Wenny Road, Chatteris, Cambs, PE16 6UU
We aim to hold regular events to help keep schools informed on strategic ICT developments - Cromwell Community College have kindly agreed to host the next event and will be supplying the all important tea, coffee and cakes! We would like to invite the Headteacher and/or the member of your Senior Management Team with responsibility for ICT to this session. The agenda will cover a range of important strategic issues with two featured items:
During the meeting there will also be the opportunity to discuss any issues you might have. We will publish the final full agenda approximately one week before the event.
Schools will have recently received an e-mail from the Learning Skills Council (LSC) inviting them to a briefing at the LSC in Peterborough to discuss the completion of the Autumn Census and the impact on LSC allocations. An LSC national audit on post 16 provision has identified a national error in the guidance relating to the completion of the Census in October. The LSC is keen to support schools to ensure that the Census is correct and to give guidance around which end date to use for post 16 students. The LSC urges schools to send at least one representative to the briefing. If you have not yet received an invite please contact clare.adams@lsc.gov.uk for further information.

skills in handling information, programming and modelling data’

in their school and places are still available. Click on the course title for more
