This two day conference and exhibition for heads, teachers and advisers takes place on 23rd - 24th June 2009 at The Robinson Centre, Wyboston, Beds, MK44 3AR. This year's conference 'Celebrate' will mark the 10th anniversary of E2BN and looks at how ICT can be used across the curriculum to offer new challenges to pupils of all abilities, both in school and at home. The conference is free for school and LA staff in Cambridgeshire. Delegates can attend for one or both days, and comfortable good value accommodation is available. There will be a wide range of presentations and workshops, and an impressive exhibition with a wide range of leading ICT in education companies. Keynote speakers include John Davitt, David Anstead HMI and Russell Prue.

Question-level analysis (QLA) national comparison data and 2009 templates are now available

Purpose:   For information
Audience: Primary Headteachers, SLT and Strategy Managers

The QA on the report suite is now complete and reports are available for 2009 interim tests.

Question-level national comparison data is loaded for the following:

•        2008 end of Key Stage 2 tests in English, maths and science.

•        2007 and 2008 optional tests for National Curriculum Year 2 in reading, writing and maths.

•        2007 and 2008 optional tests for National Curriculum Years 3, 4 and 5 in English and maths.

Note that the 2008 averages for National Curriculum years 2 to 5 are a direct copy of those for 2007, as the same papers were used.

QLA reports based on these tests will now display these national comparisons for each item in a chart or table. The national data can be filtered or grouped by gender, but no other breakdowns are available.

Please note that it is now possible to download interim test templates for 2009. These are obtained in the usual way by the school administrator using data management, or can be downloaded unpopulated from the template download area linked from the login page.
