Leading change in ICT in support of pupil learning - a NCSL Research Associate Summary Report

Purpose:     Report Information
Audience:   Headteachers/ICT Co-ordinators, all schools

This research project examined how the headteachers of five primary schools are using technological advances in order to improve the quality of education for their pupils. It explored the use of ICT, describing headteachers who embrace change and enjoy the challenge of being modern leaders in modern schools.

E2BN E-Safety Conference 5th December 2007
 
Purpose:     Conference Information
Audience:   Headteachers/ICT Co-ordinators, all schools
 
Are your students/pupils safe when they are online? Are they safe online at home? Are you able to equip them with the knowledge and understanding to help them deal with the dangers of online sexual predation? Do you know how to advise parents and guardians? Are you clear about how you should respond to allegations of cyber-bullying? Do you know what social networking is and how it is being used by your pupils? If you answered 'no' any of these questions then you might want to consider coming to E2BN's E-safety Conference at The Waterfront Centre, Wyboston in December.

ICT Service Training Programme - New brochure 2007-08
 
All Schools will have received a copy of the Cambridgeshire Education ICT Service Training Course Programme 07/08, which will give you full details of courses available at Godmanchester and other venues.
 
It also has a useful pull out calendar, which indicates a quick guide to all courses scheduled with dates available.  Please contact Course Admin either by telephone on 01480 376670 or email: ict.courses@cambridgeshire.gov.uk should you require any further copies of the programme.

Cambridgeshire Online Training Search (COTS) is a database of training opportunities provided by the Local Authority.  It can be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet without the need for a password: go to: COTS to access this service.  Its powerful search engine will help you to find suitable courses.  Eventually, all providers will be using this database, please check the Providers list for the services currently represented.  You will already find the complete listing of courses offered by CAS, CREDS, SLS, Education ICT Service, ISSIS, Cambridgeshire Youth Work and Connexions.
