A number of new

summary of the reasons for
this.

issues resolved in the August 2007 release to start support for Windows
Vista.

MIS systems and currently not supported by Capita. Specific issues with creating
new reports within SIMS.Net to view in Word 2007.

issues with some hosted services for e.g. Webcat etc

information
about the E2BN
conference
Audience: Headteachers, teachers
and ICT support staff
We announced in February that our highly successful Heads' ICT Conference would be better placed in thefirst
half of 2008 rather than summer 2007, and
that we would be promoting
the annual conference organised by E2BN, our regional broadband
consortium. This takes place at Wyboston, just outside St Neots on 3rd/4th
July.
The conference includes a wide range of
presentations, workshops and a busy mini-BETT exhibition, and always receives
extremely positive evaluations from the heads, teachers and advisers who
attend. This year the theme is "Challenging Every
Child". Speakers include the inspirational teacher, Tim Rylands, and Steve Moss
on Building Schools for the
Future.
The E2BN conference runs for two days, and it is possible
to attend for a single day. It is free to school staff in the E2BN region, and
there is a small charge if overnight accommodation is required.
The ICT Service's Technical Services team
successfully completed a Child Protection course during February 2007 half term
which included the individual's safety within the school environment module as
part of the teams Continuous Personal Development.
