Policy regarding County Council Desktop and Laptops

 

Purpose:   IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

Audience: All Schools

 

With more County Council presence in schools, it is important to recognise that school and Education ICT Service technicians should only be configuring or repairing non-Corporate systems, i.e. only those without a Cambridgeshire County Council Corporate Asset Tag.

 

If a user with a County Council Corporate asset tag is experiencing a problem with their PC or laptop, please advise them to contact the Business Support Helpdesk:  Tel: 01223 717333

Preparation for the School Census Day (18th January 2007)
 
Purpose:    Important Information
Audience:  Headteacher and School Secretary
 
The ISSIS (Roger Greens Team) have asked for the December upgrade (released from SIMS on 21st December) to be released to schools.  This MUST be run to correct critical errors in the CENSUS (formerly PLASC), the ISSIS cannot accept files from schools with critical red errors. 
 
NEW URL FOR UPLOADING THE SCHOOL CENSUS FILES
 
Please be aware the new URL  https://censuss2s.gide.net/ is not the same as the S2S URL.  Schools can use their S2S website IDs and Passwords to login to this new site.
