Starz News
     
Purpose:     Celebrate Language 
Audience:   All School Staff 

 

Park Lane Primary School, Whittlesey joined a video conference with members of the Starz team and Mark Oliver MFL advisor, as part of the Starz 'Greetings' project, linked with the European Day of Languages.  26 pupils shared their knowledge of 14 languages, during the morning session including:

 

Arabic : Chinese : Italian : Greek : Slovenian  : Spanish : Swedish : Sign Language  : Welsh  : Russian : German : Japanese : Dutch : Czechoslovakian  

(Notably no French!)

 

Do you know how many languages are used by pupils in your school?  Could you beat Parklane?

 

Thomas Eaton Primary school at Wimblington, also joined in with the project, sharing their registration with pupils answering in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Welsh and Latin (as part of their Romans topic work).
