Purpose:   Alert for professional development opportunity 2006/7

Audience:  Primary leadership teams and teachers

We shall shortly be inviting applications to take part in an action research project supported by the Faculty of Education, Cambridge University and the Education ICT Service.  We shall be seeking pairs of teachers from five Cambridgeshire Primary Schools who will follow a course entitled 'Beyond the classroom: children's use of online resources in their learning', working towards two Certificates in Further Professional Study. 'Online learning resources' include materials available through an online service or from the worldwide web, and also communication and collaboration tools which enable children to work with people beyond the school.

This follows our current action research programme which examines the use of interactive whiteboards in classroom learning situations.
