Building work / Extending your Network

 

Purpose:    Important Information

Audience:  Headteacher

 

If you are planning any building work which involves terminating, moving or adding new network points to your current cabling infrastructure, you need to: 

 

a) inform the ICT Service; and  

b) ensure the work is carried out by a MOLEX accredited, warranted cabling contractor to ensure your warranty is not made void.

STARZ On-line Learning Platform  
  
Purpose:    For Information
Audience:  Cambridgeshire Primary Schools.
 
A reminder to all primary schools that subscriptions to the STARZ on-line learning platform are renewable annually. STARZ pupil accounts will be deactivated at the end of September if you do not renew your subscription for the year 2006-07. All primary schools are currently eligible to benefit from Government Funding for this year and accounts for the year will cost only £1 per pupil.

A STARZ Introductory Pack will have arrived in your school by now with details and a booking form which should be returned to ict.courses@cambridgeshire.gov.uk 


E2BN Conference 2007

Purpose:    Diary date
Audience:  Headteacher and teaching staff
 
The date of the 2007 E2BN Conference has been announced. It will take place at Wyboston on 3 and 4 July. Once again, there will be no conference charge for staff who work in schools in the E2BN region unless they require overnight accommodation.
