A new tracking system which can trace stolen computers was launched at Kingsfield Primary School in Chatteris. Computrace for laptops is a theft protection service that tracks, locates and recovers stolen laptops. Undetectable and irremovable software installed works behind the scenes to silently and securely contact the Computrace Monitoring Centre, and if stolen, reports its location.

Many school staff who access their email using Outlook or Outlook Express are currently receiving multiple copies of the same message. Digitalbrain have been made aware of this problem and expect it to be resolved shortly. In the meantime, if you are receiving an excessively large amount of email, please contact the ICT Service Helpline and we will try to cut down the amount of messages you are downloading.
Additionally, an increased number of spam emails containing inappropriate content are still being received by many users. Digitalbrain are aware of this issue too and are releasing a fix when the new webmail system launches later this term.
