Resources on
the portal can be found by searching using a built in search engine or by
drilling down through the education categories we call Themes.
Now there is a
third way of finding out what's new on the Portal.
A link on the
front page of the Portal invites you to "Tell me about new resources by
email." This facility provides you with a personalised weekly update on any
new Portal Resources you are interested in.
You choose
the categories you're interested in. They're the same categories we use for our
Themes. So if you're interested in the latest ICT resources or resource updates
for governors, just click on "Tell me about new resources ..." and select your
Themes from a choice of two hundred.
Whenever there's anything new you'll get an email, just one each week, giving a description of the resource and a link to the whole thing. No adverts, no hidden messages, just a description and a link. Visit it now or later, it will stay in your in tray for whatever email address you choose.
