As it celebrates it's second birthday, the Cambridgeshire Education
Portal will be re-launched this week with a new look front page and new
layout. Among many improvements, searching for resources has been greatly
simplified. You will notice that the Search box has been moved to the top of the
page, and a Search by Resource ID box added. Every resource submitted to the
Portal is automatically allocated a unique ID number, which will now be
published in the description box. So besides finding resources by keywords,
users can be informed of the ID number and then simply search for
that.
Additionally, users can now sign up to email alerts about new
resources on subjects of interest to them; 'dropdown' tabs have been added to
the top of the Portal to improve navigation around the site; and the resource
submission process has been tidied up and simplified. More details about these
