Education Portal upgrade

In response to feedback from users, development work on the Education Portal has been taking place and, after some unavoidable delays, is nearing completion. Changes have been made to the appearance and layout, designed to make searching easier and information more accessible and a number of new features will be incorporated.

The portal development team hope that it will be possible for users in schools to try out the new-look portal while it is being tested. Information on progress will appear on the portal itself, and in this newsletter.

SIMS UPGRADE

An email has been sent to all schools on Wednesday 15th June 2005 SIMS have issued an Enhancement Release 2 which can be downloaded through the SOLUS Upgrade tool. If you still have not processed the Spring 2005 upgrade you can upgrade straight from the Enhancement Release 2.
