Meet the Education ICT Service team

The Head of the ICT Service is Hazel Coulter. Besides managing the Service and contributing to the corporate management of the Education Department, Hazel has worked with DfES, BECTA and NAACE on a number of national initiatives, including the ICT component of school workforce reform. Her PA and Customer Service Assistant Angela Harrison provides full administrative cover for Hazel and Paul Springford.

Business Support Manager Mazzie Bartimus and the Customer Service Team are involved with ensuring that all clients have opportunities to discuss their needs and provide feedback on the quality of the service.

The Deputy Head of Service is Paul Springford, who is responsible for ICT learning strategies. He manages both the ICT Curriculum and E-learning teams. This has involved delivering the schools networking project and the migration to broadband, and other significant on-line services such as website hosting for schools, the Cambridgeshire Education portal and Starz.

Gareth Davies is the E-Learning Manager. His responsibility is to develop and manage online learning platform strategies and services, such as the Education Portal and Starz.

The MIS (Management Information Systems) programme is managed by Matthew Nall. The Schools MIS team deliver training and consultancy services to schools on MIS systems and projects.  Matthew also manages the ICT Helpline who deal with problems arising from every aspect of ICT in schools.

Leonard Veenendaal is responsible for our three highly respected Technical Services teams. These are the Technical Support team who provide onsite and remote support to schools, the Procurement Service which provides equipment, software and networking infrastructure to schools, and the System Support team who support all the Centrally Hosted services including centrally hosted SIMS, Exchange Email, SIMS Learning Gateway, video conferencing and Remote Access.

Kelvin Baggaley is Finance Manager and oversees the Business Team. Many of you will come into contact with our Business team when booking courses, placing orders and so on, led by our Senior Centre Administrator and PA to Senior Managers is Alison Studd.
