There will be no upgrade to Key Stage Manager in the Spring Term 2005, so schools still on Assessment Manager 5 must move to Assessment Manager 6 by the Summer Term. In January 2006, there will be no Data Manager so schools must do PLASC in SIMS .net. However, there are many advantages to moving to SIMS .net sooner rhater than later, not least of which is simpler management and vastly improved reporting and links to Word and Excel.
A second letter has gone out to all schools (click here for a copy) giving details fo free seminars to enable schools to start the process of Final Conversion.
