A Year 1 (lesson) teacher used this web site to prepare her class for a visit to the local parish church where the vicar would demonstrate what happens when a baby is baptised.

The teacher told the children the story of Jesus’ baptism. Then, using an interactive whiteboard with a single internet-linked computer she used this web site to introduce some images showing what infant baptism today involves, and what they might see / want to ask about. The ‘hot spots’ provided suitable questions and answers around which the teacher structured this part of the lesson.

Following the visit, children created a wall display of their own questions and answers about baptism, using digital photographs taken on the day along with their own work.
